Northern Ireland’s most prestigious pharmacy awards, the Pharmacy in Focus Awards, have once again shown the important roles that the profession can play in local healthcare.

Pharmacists from across the province gathered at The Crowne Plaza, Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast on 1st February to showcase the work that community pharmacies are doing on a daily basis.

McKeevers Chemists, Fivemiletown were delighted to pick up the award for Community Pharmacy of the Year on the night. This award recognises the integral role that McKeevers Chemists plays with health promotion and service provision to their local community.

McKeevers Chemists opened their first branch in 2001 in Marcus Square, Newry and with the community at the heart of their business, have grown to 24 stores across the UK and Ireland.  The company values of health promotion, quality service and reliability are evident throughout each of their branches.
